Bipartisan FAST-41 Bill Would Advance Permitting Reform and Get More Projects Moving

Reps. Chris Deluzio (D-PA) and Jeff Crank (R-CO) introduced the Expanding the FAST Track Act to expand access to the FAST-41 process by lowering the eligibility threshold from $200 million to $50 million. As part of broader permitting reform efforts, this would help more mid-sized energy and infrastructure projects move through federal review with greater coordination and clearer timelines—getting critical work underway and putting skilled workers on the job.
