UA International Rep. Speaks at New York Nuclear Energy Forum

Friday, February 6, 2026

Earlier this month, UA International Representative Greg Lancette participated in a nuclear energy forum hosted by New York Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay in Oswego County. The forum brought together elected officials, industry leaders, and the men and women of the building trades to discuss the future of New York's energy supply. Brother Lancette reminded those in attendance of the community benefits of hiring our members and a local workforce, and he spoke about our efforts to lead the future of nuclear energy: "The trades have been planning and implementing scaling efforts to increase the capacity of the construction requirements of the industry to continue to provide the skilled labor in the region."
