Last week, the Trump administration unveiled it’s annual budget proposal - a list of spending priorities the administration presents to Congress to determine the legislative agenda for the year ahead. We are now more than one month into the war in Iran, and the administration’s budget slashes billions of dollars in funding for critical infrastructure programs and UA work to offset more than $1.5 trillion for foreign wars. The Trump administration is seeking to cut more than $15.2 billion in infrastructure projects, more than $3.5 billion in clean water and wastewater infrastructure funds, while signaling cuts to programs like Medicare and child care.
