As energy costs continue to rise, several Democratic governors are embracing a more balanced, all-of-the-above energy strategy that includes discussions around expanding natural gas infrastructure. The shift reflects growing concerns by the public about affordability, reliability, and the ability to meet future energy demand. For years, the UA and our local unions — and more recently Pipetrades USA — have engaged elected officials on the importance of pipelines and energy infrastructure, helping keep the focus on practical solutions that create jobs, strengthen energy security, and help lower costs for working families.
