The House passed bipartisan legislation to speed up geothermal energy development by reducing permitting delays and improving project certainty. As America’s energy needs continue to grow, geothermal projects represent another opportunity to create work for skilled UA members while strengthening the nation’s energy infrastructure. Comprehensive permitting reform remains a priority for the UA as we continue advocating for policies that help get projects built and members on the job.
