hailed the announcement of historic labor protections attached to tax credits created and
expanded by the Biden Administration’s Inflation Reduction Act as a monumental step to
protecting workers and fair wages:

and registered apprenticeship requirements, combined with incentives for the use of project
labor agreements, will ensure that the hardworking men and women who build the future of
American energy and American infrastructure are paid the fair wages and benefits they earn,”
said Mark McManus, General President of the United Association. “Davis-Bacon protections are
the very foundation of the American working class. These prevailing wage laws mean our
members can go to work each day and earn fair wages, without fear of an unscrupulous
contractor undercutting our work – and now, these robust record keeping requirements
announced by the Treasury Department will help enforce these essential protections. Even more,
these final rules will help grow our nation’s energy capacity to meet our shared energy goals all
