Thank you for visiting uagetinvolved.org (the “Site”), a website being made available for informational purposes, and operated by the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada (“United Association,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).  The terms “you” and “user” as used herein refer to all individuals and/or entities accessing this Site for any reason.

We have created this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use to explain how we use information that you may provide while visiting our website and how you may use the information contained on the Site.

The United Association is committed to internet privacy as demonstrated by the policies set forth herein.  Please note that this Privacy Policy portion of the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use does not apply to information collected through third-party websites, features, or services that you may access through the Site.

Website Usage Information Collection:When you visit the Site, we may automatically obtain information about your usage, including, for example, your domain and internet protocol address, the browser and operating system used to access the Site, the pages and files visited, and the date of the visit to the Site.

Collection of Information Supplied by You: The United Association provides opportunities for you to provide information such as your name, contact information (e.g., mailing address, e-mail address, phone number), voter registration status, local union number, and/or other information voluntarily.  Examples of reasons you may submit this information include to engage in United Association activities, such as online activism; to enroll in newsletters, action alerts, or similar updates; to correspond with the United Association; to get involved in available processes; or to submit comments, ideas, or questions to the United Association.  Any information we collect directly through the Site is collected and stored by the United Association.  Please contact us through the link on the bottom of this page to inquire about accessing, updating, or deleting your personally identifying information provided through this Site. We reserve the right to address these inquiries in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and law.
