Who is On the Ballot Today?

After two years of one-party control in Washington, voters head to the polls today to chart a course for the future. For the UA, party labels do not matter. Instead, we look at the results and how elected officials take action on issues that impact our jobs and our wages. We evaluate candidates on their stances on everything from Davis-Bacon to project labor agreements, from registered apprenticeships to energy permitting and labor protections.

We did the research. We put together a list of candidates for U.S. House, U.S. Senate, and critical Governorships – Democrats, Republicans, and Independents – who stand up for the UA and our members on these essential issues. All of them are on the ballot today; take a look and decide for yourself.
