- Designates a lead federal agency for the review process, preventing redundant and unnecessary reviews.
- Expands projects eligible for streamlining to include energy storage work, growing the list of eligible UA projects for a fast-tracked permitting process.
- Allows use of existing studies and agency expertise, cutting down on redundant processes.
- Clarifies definition of "major federal actions," further streamlining the permitting process.
