UA Launches $1.5 Million Nationwide Member Education Campaign for Midterm Elections

United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters (UA) General President Mark McManus announced today

that the UA recently launched its largest-ever midterm ad campaign with a series of targeted television, digital, and streaming audio and video ads nationwide:

“This November, our jobs are on the ballot. We’ve put together our team of candidates from both sides of the aisle who will always fight to give working families like ours a fair shot and lower costs. From prevailing wage to project labor agreements, from registered apprenticeship standards to an all-of-the-above energy approach, these candidates for office will stand with UA members and make sure our voice is always at the table. They will bring common-sense checks and balances to office, where they will fight to make life more affordable and end forever wars. These ads will reach UA members in all fifty states, giving them the tools they need to make an informed decision at the ballot box this November.”

The ad campaign includes three nationwide spots featuring General President McManus, as well as selected candidate-specific ads in battleground states and districts. The ads run on streaming audio, streaming video, satellite television, social media platforms, digital streaming services, and more.
