In Nebraska, UA member Dan Osborn is running to bring an independent voice back to Washington. A Navy veteran and Army National Guardsman, Osborn began working as a mechanic at the Kellogg’s plant in Omaha where he saw firsthand how unscrupulous contractors take advantage of workers every chance they get.
He led the successful strikes against Kellogg’s in 2021 – and is now running to take that fight to Washington. In the Senate, Osborn will protect our gold-standard registered apprenticeship program and expand the use of project labor agreements and prevailing wage provisions. When UA members get involved and run for office, we make sure our voice is heard. That’s why the UA is backing Independent Dan Osborn for Senate.
